New for 2010, Poppy Cottage has just been renovated to a high standard, giving comfortable accomodation for 2-4 people. In the picture, Poppy Cottage is the left hand building. It has attractive arched windows and doors. You will find a spacious sitting room with views over the terrace and surrounding countryside. The seating area has a small sofa and a sofa bed, providing extra sleeping accomodation if necessary. There is an antique wood burning stove for cooler evenings.
The dining area has a table and four chairs, and is near a door through to a small kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a modern gas cooker and a large fridge, but retains the old sink. There is plenty of new crockery and glassware.
The bedroom has a comfortable double bed,and plenty of storage space in the wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The newly fitted shower room has a basin set in a vanity unit, a WC and a walk-in shower.
The poppy theme is visible throughout the cottage which is decorated in a smart red and white colour scheme, with poppy print curtains, bedding etc. Good quality linen and towels are provided.
As well as the sunny terrace, there is a large shady garden.
Rates: April/May and October, €250 per week
5/6 - 9/7 and 4/9 - 24/9 €300 per week
10/7 - 3/9 €350 per week
